Cali, 28 October 2024 – Ministers from nine countries delivered a clear message at CBD COP16 in Colombia: increasing the range of financial mechanisms to support countries, developing a broader range of financial instruments, and scaling the volume of finance available must happen in parallel in order to halt and reverse deforestation and land degradation by 2030.
